Engineering as unfair advantage.

Two to six clients a year, depending on engagement depth. Founders, CTOs, and boards who need the engineering decisions they've been deferring made well, and made now.

Our posture

How we work.

No theatre. No deck of best practices. The decision is yours; our job is to make sure you make it with everything you need on the table.

N° 01

Strong opinions, written down

Every recommendation comes with the reasoning, the alternatives, and the failure mode we're protecting against. Easy to argue with. Hard to dismiss.

N° 02

Engineering as advantage

Architecture, team shape, and rituals compound. We tune all three until your results stop feeling lucky and start feeling earned.

N° 03

No dependencies on us

We hand over systems your team can run without us. The week we leave, your engineers should be more capable, and that's the metric we judge ourselves on.

N° 04

Direct counsel, on your side

We tell you what we'd do, what we wouldn't, and what we don't know yet. No sales theatre, no upsell, no answer dressed up as a question.

Selected work

When the system held under load.

A small portfolio. Three years of close work each, anonymised where required. The work compounds.

Case study

Twenty engineers to one hundred. No replatform.

Healthcare marketplace, hypergrowth, US regulatory complexity. Three years inside. The architecture, the contracts, and the rituals that emerged became the spine of three of our frameworks.

How we engage

Three phases.
One contract.

Bounded, fixed-fee, revisited weekly. You always know what we're doing, why, and what comes next. No discovery-phase meter running.

PHASE 01

Listen

Two weeks · fixed fee

We sit with the team. Read the architecture. Watch the rituals. Then we write back what we heard and what we think it means. No work begins without it.

PHASE 02

Build

Six to twelve weeks

We work alongside your team. Not above, not in parallel. The frameworks ship, adapted to your context, and your engineers operate them from week one.

PHASE 03

Withdraw

Two weeks · handover

Every system gets an owner on your side, named in writing. We document why, not just how. Then we leave, and stay one call away, for as long as it's useful.

"The most expensive code solves the wrong problem. The cheapest decision a team makes is the one made before the building starts."

Jędrzej Tabaczyński
Start a conversation

If the decision has gotten heavy, we should talk.

A first conversation is forty-five minutes. No deck, no pitch, we figure out together whether the work in front of you is the kind of work we're useful for. Most isn't. Some is.
